For the avid collectors who wish to go out and find minerals and fossils on their own, the case of North Carolina minerals will give them the incentive to search out the collecting areas of the state. This case consists of specimens that were found by members of the Henderson County Gem and Mineral Society throughout the state of North Carolina from the eastern seaboard to the Tennessee border.
