News
from the

MINERAL & LAPIDARY MUSEUM
of Henderson County, inc.

It is with deep sadness that we report one of our founding members, Margaret Johnson, has passed away. We extend our heart felt condolences to her husband Bill.

Margaret has been a vital and vibrant member of our society, serving most recently as Show Chair, Treasurer and Editor of our Newsletter. This does not include the many things she did behind the scenes to enable our society to serve our members. She has also been an important part of the Mineral & Lapidary Museum in Hendersonville.

Margaret will be greatly missed.

Her obituary appears here (you must search the list) or here as a PDF file.

Visitors of all ages are encouraged to come and see the many other interesting exhibits of minerals, gems, geodes, and fossils.
