The Mineral Museum is located in the basement of the Henderson County Genealogical and Historical Society building. This building was the historic State Trust Company. It was used by Henderson County until leased by the Henderson County Genealogical and Historical Society.

The Mineral Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and is volunteer run.

For handicap and stroller access, enter the Genealogy Center and turn right. There is an elevator. When the Genealogy Center is closed, go around to the side of the building (on 4th Street) and enter the first door on your left which will be at ground level to the musem.

Monday-Friday: 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.




 

SPECIAL HOURS:

Schools, Scouts, Seniors, other organizations and/or tour groups,
exceeding 15 persons should make arrangements
to come in between 9 A.M. to 12 Noon, Monday through Friday.

ADMISSION is FREE
